When the caps lock light is on, everything typed comes out in lowercase. When the light is off, everything is in caps. I use a laptop, so I can't unplug the keyboard. Sticky keys is off, and none of the shift buttons are stuck. Is there any way to reverse this? You probably pressed caps lock an odd number of times in a game, or during a program startup when it was initializing or something, a restart should fix it. Or go back in the game if you know what caused it, press it once, then exit again.
Well the problem with me is that, randomly the capslock would be reversed and not only that, mouse would act weird too, clicking one folder will select other folders and would open them all, scrolling wont work etc.
I used to restart my PC every time when this problem occurred, I thought might be a problem with my windows 8, but then I have an another PC with windows 10 that does the same problem, might be some software glitch.

In a remote desktop session to a Windows Server R2-based computer, if we do the same steps, the Caps Lock key on the client's physical keyboard also turns to off status, which is synced with the remote desktop session.
This issue occurs because Windows Server and Windows Server R2 use the "Remote Desktop Keyboard Device" to handle the keyboard inputs in remote desktop sessions.
To make the client and the remote desktop session Caps Lock key sync again, you need to minimize the remote desktop session window or click the mouse outside the remote desktop session window, and then click it again.

Droplet console / nano randomizes characters on paste
This is really an embarrassment. The entire engineering team at DO should be ashamed of themselves. Have a modicum of pride in your work. I noticed that copying worked for short strings, like passwords and commands.
I found out that i needed caps lock ON because it made the capital letters small, and the small ones capital when I pasted and I copied 19 letters at a time, and it worked like a charm. Still wish I just could copy the damned thing though :. Are you talking about ssh? If you are Linux just right click and select paste OSx just copy paste as you normally would.
Windows, right-click to paste too I agree with this request -- it's impossible to paste from the clipboard into the VNC terminal on your droplet. Yes, I can do it with Putty on Windows, but some things don't run well in putty e. Console Access is really only for emergency access. It's best if you login using SSH. This would really be great.
I don't usually use the VNC console I normally use Terminalbut this would be an excellent feature, for say, if I am away from my regular computer and I need to log in and make a few changes. This is a huge flaw using your vcn. When I pull out my mobile phone it would be nice to have the ability to copy and paste!
